P E A C H & P E A R

Peach & Pear Catering started out with owner,  Gabi Harding, delivering lunch to five friends. From there, through word of mouth and social media, business grew. Many recipes were trialed and tested before Gabi settled on her final selection. She knew the business had to be something unique – something the Whitsundays community had never seen. The result (today) is a beautiful marriage of taste and presentation. Gabi’s attention to detail is what makes Peach & Pear diverse from its competition.

Since then, the business has evolved from a small lunch delivering service, to a full-time catering operation, servicing the tourism industry, the wedding industry and everything else in between.

Peach & Pear Catering is a multitude of things rolled into one extremely neat little package.  Our mission is to make each and every customer’s experience one they will remember fondly for years to come. Whether a picnic hamper for two, a wedding feast for 100 or a corporate event, we are able to offer something appropriate, memorable and unique for each occasion that may arise. 

We aim to become the leading catering company servicing the Whitsundays. Through the continued use of quality products across our catering, efficient procedures and outstanding customer service, we are confident we are well positioned to realise this goal.

O U R M I S S I O N

Our mission is to provide our guests with impeccable service and outstanding food, while utilising as much local produce as possible. Should local produce be unavailable, Australian produce will be sought.

We are also dedicated to protecting and preserving our environment, so others have the opportunity to experience its incredible beauty.

A B O U T U S

Originally born in South America, Gabi migrated with her family at 7 years of age and settled in Adelaide. After living in Cairns and eventually moving to Darwin, when her daughter was 6 weeks old, she discovered that she loved the tropics so much that 21 years ago she made the decision to relocate to the beautiful Whitsundays. Gabi now lives in this amazing part of the world with her husband. Her daughter, now aged 24, lives in Brisbane with her fiancé.

Predominantly from a marketing and bookkeeping background, Gabi’s love of cooking and entertaining, found her wanting more. Much has changed within Peach & Pear over the last 9 years. In particular, we have advanced from being a little mobile lunch service, delivering salads and sandwiches to local businesses, to providing exquisite catering throughout the Whitsundays. We now offer a selection of Grazing Tables, Grazing Boards, Canape Boards/Menu, Resort Welcome Platters and much more.

Using only the finest, freshest ingredients, we promise to provide outstanding food and exceptional service to our customers.  We now offering an online store, called The Peach Emporium specialising in gourmet Australian foods, wine, gifts and much more.
